rockies in 5...thats a bold prediction young lady.

i was pulling for the rockies prior to the world series but am concerned they have lost momentum after not playing for 8 days.

the red sox on the other hand are hot right now. baaassston in 6.

Carl, Carl, Carl...I am nothing if not bold. I think they might lose game 1 but kick ass in game 2 (or vice versa) and then sweep at home. I think if the series goes back to Fenway it will not bode well for the Rox.

Baaaaaaaaaaaston can kiss my fanny.

Dear Sister of Mine: Yes, yes they did...but it's not over yet. It's best out of seven. No need to panic yet.

Although, I did buy the hat in the pic two days ago...and I told the guy at the store that if they lost the first game it would be because I jinxed them. The hat is in my car right now and I'm taking it back at lunch. :)

You guys are talking about baseball as if it were...interesting. You know it's baseball right? The game that only rose to popularity during the depression because everyone was unemployed and could spend their entire day watching the grass grow under the feet of guys who wanted to be athletes but grew up and discovered they could only play baseball.

I don't know who's going to win, but I'll bet you right now it's going to go for seven games. Because if the game of baseball has taught us anything, it's that you're more likely to win the lottery than see a quick end to baseball season.

Cute hat! I wish I looked good in hats! I'm not a baseball fan and with Johnny playing for the Yankee's instead of the Red Sox now, I don't care who wins. I'm still pissed Steinbrenner made Johnny cut his hot hot hot hair! LOL :)

Well, since the Sox deflated our Indians, I definitely don't want to see them win but...stick a fork in the Rockies, they're done. They'll win a game or two at home but then they'll have to face Beckett again and then go back to Boston. You guys really needed one of the first two games.

Tim,

you can take your baseball hating, anti-american, communist self and go home.

KC,
where are the Rox's bats?!?

Matt Holliday has been nonexistent.

Communist love baseball John, so clearly, I am not. Fortunately, we were incorrect in our predictions and we can now get back to proper sports.

Speaking of which...how badly do you think we're going to get pounded this weekend KC? I'm going to say 24 - 10.

So, uh, when is that fifth game to be played...??? You'd better stick with Football!!

Tim: I'm not exactly sure...but it's 24-10 sounds about right. Although, you never know, we might only score a field goal. Not looking forward to it.

Sis: Bite me.

Gotta agree with Tim. Baseball is a snore.

Then again, so is football. And, um, basketball too. Hell, all sports are a huge snore-fest in my opinion.

So Terry, didn't your team tank?
