Contrary

After the finality of talking with him last night, I was positive that this morning, the sun would be hidden behind a sky full of clouds and the day would be gray.

It isn't.

The sun is out, the sky is a gorgeous shade of blue dotted with an occasional cloud puff. I'm still sad, but this kind of sun makes me believe everything is going to be all right.

I bought new socks the other day and they came in a reseable bag. What the hell? What marketing genius thought that socks needed to come in a reseable bag? Maybe they thought the bags could be reused...perhaps tomorrow I'll bring a sandwich to the office in my reseable sock bag.

This morning, I opened the bag, took out one pair and didn't reseal it. Do you suppose when I get home the rest of my new socks will be stale?
