It's all in the timing

I fell asleep last night thinking about 'what if'.

I woke up knowing two things for certain: life is all about timing and 'what if' will drive you crazy if you let it.

You're exactly right. Life is all about timing and stuff outta our hands. And whatever it is we think we have some sorta control over, that's really just an illusion.

It's all too confusing for me most of the time. I think you just have to roll with it and see where it leads you. Life is too short to take it seriously.

I have learned that too. Also, if a member of the opposite ses ever asks a question that starts with the words 'what if', the answer is, "I'm sorry, I don't play the what 'if game'"

I never ask myself that question because I'm not sure that I want to know the answer...

I'm more of a "live with wonder" kind of girl rather than a "kick myself later" kind of girl. I'm considering switching sides...

Kate: It's best not to think about it much

Boring: If I have learned anything in my life it's that I have no control over anything...

Mark: I agree...the what if game is not fun.

Heather: I'm a leap then look kind of girl. Sometimes it works, other times it kicks my ass.

Carl: But of course I was thinking of you, sugar beet. And I'd like to say I'm sorry about the crappy weather, but I'm a mean person and think it's about time some other parts of the country feel my winter pain! We got 4 more inches of snow over the weekend (5th week in a row for snow!) but that's okay, it's going to be in close to 50 degrees all week. Finally, maybe some of this crap will go away. Seriously, keep warm, stay inside, drink lots of fluids (preferably the alcoholic kind) and surf the 'net for a cheap flight to Denver. I've got an extra ticket to the KU/CU basketball game in mid-Feb...you wanna go? :)
